It is an afforable HD at this capcity. It has not stopped working for me yet, and thats because I use my PS3 pretty much everyday. I never used the MacBook with the 250GB drive that it came with. I installed this the same day that I purchased the MacBook and it has been working well since then, which is about 2 months. So far so good with this drive. Also, if you are a Mac user, this is the exact same brand and RPM as the stock drive in the Macbook. In fact, this drive is identical to the one that I pulled out of my MacBook, except for the capacity, of course. Also, because the hard drive is a user replaceable part, upgrading you hard drive does not void your MacBook warranty---I checked this with the folks at Mac before opening up the computer and they confirmed that it would not affect the warranty. |
