I purchased this for use on my brand new mountain bike, clear was important to me for several reasons, one is that my bike is white so there'll be no unsightly smears of black or green grease, another is that when (not if) I get grease on my clothes there isn't an instant nasty stain. I've used this on wheel bearings and bottom brackets as well as for lubricating the threads of fasteners. Heck, I've even used it to grease pulleys on my garage doors and on the door latches of my Jeep, all with great results. Bottom line is that this is good stuff, it doesn't separate like some greases and in my opinion it performs on par with Phil Wood grease. I'm quickly going through my 1lb tub and will be ordering more when needed. |
